The service

Anthology helps you discover games and keep track of the ones you own, play and want to play. It's free to use. If we ever add paid features, we'll say clearly what they cost before you pay, and what is free today won't quietly become paid.

Your account

You can use most of the site without an account. Signing in with Google keeps your collection in sync across devices. Keep your Google account secure; you're responsible for what happens under your sign-in. You must be at least 13 to create an account.

Your content

Your collection, notes, ratings and lists are yours. You let us store, copy and show them so the site works for you, and, if you turn on a public profile, show them to others. You can download them or delete them whenever you like.

Fair use

Please don't:

• scrape the site or call its APIs in bulk, or use it to rebuild another game database;
• try to reach other players' data, break security, or overload the service;
• put anything unlawful, hateful or someone else's private information in a public profile or bio.

We may limit or suspend accounts that do these things, and remove public content that breaks these rules.

Game data and prices

Game details, covers, scores, playtimes and prices come from RAWG, IGDB, Steam, RetroAchievements and IsThereAnyDeal. We show them in good faith but can't promise they're complete or correct. Prices can change at any moment; always check the store before you buy. Links to stores go to their sites, and their terms apply there. Game names, artwork and trademarks belong to their owners.

Changes and availability

We're a small project and will keep improving the site, which means features may change or be removed. We provide it as is, without warranties, and can't promise it will always be available or error-free. If we ever shut it down, we'll give at least 30 days' notice so you can download your data.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, or for losses from using or being unable to use the site, including lost data. Keep a backup of anything important; Settings lets you download one. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can't be limited.

Ending

You can stop using Anthology and delete your account at any time from Settings. If we update these terms, we'll change the date above and tell signed-in players about important changes; continuing to use the site means you accept them.
